The Manager - Internal Communication is responsible for developing and implementing effective internal communication plans that support Centralus Health strategic goals. With the guidance of the System Director of Corporate Communications and in collaboration with organizational leadership, this role will be responsible for creating and implementing internal communication strategies that drive employee engagement, align teams with company goals, and promote a cohesive company culture. The ideal candidate has a strong background in marketing or corporate communications, excellent storytelling skills, and a passion for cultivating a connected and informed workplace.

The Manager is responsible for message creation and timely distribution to meet measureable strategic objectives. These include ensuring that unified, consistent, and positive messages define and promote the corporate identity and improve employee understanding of key corporate initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement communication plans that effectively inform and engage employees, aligning them with the company's mission, vision, and values. Authors messages with collaboration of internal partners. Topics include but are not limited to DEI, Patient Experience, Quality and Safety, HR, Finance, Foundation, and Strategic Initiatives.
  • Reviews and prioritizes recommendations for corporate messaging and submits to System Director of Corporate Communications for discussion with senior leadership if necessary.
  • Write, edit, and produce internal communication materials, including newsletters, intranet updates, video scripts, announcements, and presentations. Ensure consistent tone, clarity, and branding.
  • Oversee content for the company intranet and other internal digital platforms, ensuring they are current, engaging, and accessible.
  • Organize and promote internal communications events, such as town halls, webinars, and workshops that foster an inclusive and positive workplace culture.
  • Drives content for social media as related to Internal Corporate Messages (Linked In, FB, Insta, Twitter) with support of design colleagues.
  • Ensure that all internal communications are aligned with the company's brand voice and values, reinforcing a consistent identity across all touchpoints.
  • Ensures production of high-quality and error-free content.
  • Responds to challenging situations quickly and professionally.
  • Collects, analyzes, and reports effectiveness of communications and revises efforts to maximize effectiveness. With the System Director of Corporate Communications, sets annual measures of success and provides regular progress updates.
  • Acts as a strong advocate among various constituents for the communications function and MarCom staff. Establishes and maintains rapport and credibility with constituents at all levels across the enterprise.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field is required
  • 5-7 years related experience is required

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Master's degree preferred.

Location and Travel Requirements:

  • Onsite at CMC Main Campus
  • Days, and as needed hours outside of traditional

Compensation Disclosure:

  • $75,000 to $85,000
