Position Overview:

The Production Cook prepares food for service for residents, patients, employees and visitors.


What you'll do:

  • Prepare meals for service per recipe
  • Assist with menu and recipe development
  • Adhere to all local, state and federal food safety and sanitation codes
  • Accurately complete all temperature logs to ensure food safety
  • Maintain all food storage and production areas in inspection-ready condition.
  • Monitor overproduction to minimize waste
  • Serve patrons and complete sales via POS in retail outlet
  • Daily use of Food Service Management software for production sheets

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of cooking/food production.
  • 1 year food safety experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of cooking in large-scale production kitchen
  • Experience cooking in a healthcare environment
  • Servsafe or Food Safety Manager certified
  • 2-year culinary degree

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting of 50 #. Standing for long periods of time. Working in an environment that includes a wide range of temperatures including production areas and walk-in coolers/freezers.

Travel Requirements:

  • 100% Onsite

Compensation Disclosure:

  • $19.23 to $24.04 per hour
