Provider Engagement Coordinator
The Provider Engagement Coordinator is a critical member of the Provider Engagement team and serves as a strategic liaison among Recruitment, Contracts & Compensation, Onboarding, and Retention functions. This role plays an integral part in advancing the organization's provider engagement strategy by exercising independent judgment, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and supporting the execution of team objectives aligned with organizational goals. The position performs work directly related to the management and general business operations of the organization and contributes to the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of provider engagement processes.
Job Functions (5-10)
Provider Engagement Operations & Systems Management
- Independently designs, builds, and maintains Jira Software boards and project-tracking systems tailored to the operational needs of individual teams.
- Develops, analyzes, and distributes operational reports and performance metrics related to provider recruitment, contracting, onboarding, and retention.
- Regularly evaluates tracking data and workflow efficiency to support informed decision-making and continuous process improvement.
- Develops and maintains reporting tools and tracking systems that directly impact operational efficiency, compliance, and business outcomes.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Strategic Support
- Serves as a key liaison among Provider Engagement leadership, Recruitment, Contracts & Compensation, Operations, Finance, and Administrative Services to coordinate workflows and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Collaborates with leadership to manage and oversee the provider job requisition posting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Coordinates complex, multi-stakeholder meetings, including provider recruitment interviews and contract negotiation meetings, requiring discretion, prioritization, and judgment.
Recruitment, Contracting & Compensation Support
- Independently manages operational support for the Provider Recruitment function, including data tracking, reporting, and documentation preparation.
- Works directly with the Provider Contracts Manager and Administrative Services to ensure provider contracts are finalized, executed, and distributed appropriately.
- Prepares and manages letters of intent, provider contracts, and related documents using electronic signature platforms.
- Oversees the preparation and distribution of provider compensation summaries and maintains compensation data within internal systems.
- Compiles and analyzes data related to provider quality bonus payments and annual group contract renewals.
Onboarding, Retention & Provider Lifecycle Management
- Oversees the maintenance of key provider documentation and credentials, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Manages onboarding logistics, including coordination of lab coat ordering and provider communications.
- Develops and distributes weekly provider change communications to internal stakeholders.
- Manages patient mailing lists and transition communications for departing providers.
- Compiles documentation required for provider immigration visa waiver processes.
Professional Representation & Confidentiality
- Interacts with senior leadership, providers, managers, external partners, and other stakeholders as a representative of the organization, exercising professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Authors, reviews, and proofreads correspondence, reports, and internal communications.
- Handles sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of discretion and compliance with organizational standards.
- Performs special projects and operational initiatives requiring independent judgment and problem-solving.

Education / Experience Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's Degree
- 2+ years of project management, administrative support experience, or similar
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in Health care
- Knowledge in JIRA project management system
