Job Summary

The Provider Engagement Specialist will work closely with the Provider Engagement team, with a focus on project management and provider education. Specialist will be responsible for managing all provider-related projects including, but not limited to: locum tenens management, practice onboarding management and working closely with the other provider engagement specialists to manage the onboarding process for new Centralus providers.

Additionally, this role will focus on developing, implementing and managing a provider-only orientation process for new Centralus providers.

Job Functions (5-10)

  • Works closely with the full Provider Engagement team, with the main goal of ensuring a positive provider experience from recruitment to retention and beyond
  • Launch and lead a new provider-only orientation process for all Centralus providers; will work closely with Centralus HR and Medical Staff Office to ensure orientation process is fully compliant with all necessary components
  • Manage the onboarding process for each new practice that joins Centralus Health; includes collaborating closely with operational leaders, practice managers and support departments (e.g., Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, Facilities) to ensure timely project success as well as facilitating recurring onboarding project management meetings to keep stakeholders on task
  • Provides direction and necessary updates to internal teams of any potential delays or problems
  • Research issues related to onboarding or workflows and provides feedback/recommendations to management for review
  • Patient Experience and Press Ganey liaison for ambulatory clinics
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with the capability to pivot quickly and adapt to directional change
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when exposed to sensitive information
  • Assist in coordination of patient notifications in regards to physician moves and/or departures
  • Other duties as assigned

Education / Experience Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, healthcare administration, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in project management and healthcare management
  • Equivalent Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in managing programs or projects within healthcare or staff development environments.

Preferred:

  • Previous leadership experience in healthcare or staff development.
